MNR netting survey RICE Lake

Spring is here and lots of people have started to rent our boats for daily fishing now that the weather is getting warmer. We have had the MNR doing netting surveys recently and they feel Walley are good, Bass plentiful and panfish are getting larger. Many fishermen were up for the long weekend and had a great time fishing. Fishing Licences can be renewed on line at home if you have a printer or Canadian Tire in Peterborough can issue Licences for your convenience. Bass opener is June 23. Dont't forget to buy your fishing festival tickets in June. Prizes are great again this year and it is a fun time to introduce the family to fishing. Anyone can be a winner, beginner or experienced, the fish don't care. We rent our cottages for short stays (2 night min.) or the entire week.
